The Magical Magician Melissa
The Magical Magician Melissa is a story about three young girls that are tasked to protect and fulfill the wishes and dreams of people in need. Each girl has their own unique powers and goals, and they often struggle to figure out which path is the best to take. But together, they are friends forever through the best of times and worst of times.
It's a story with children in mind, inspired by the stories of magical girls, and it was designed with mock toys designed to go with the characters.

Magical girl of wishes. Melissa seems like the most unqualified person to be the protector of everyone's wishes. In fact her wand even questions if it was a mistake or not to give her powers. While she mostly abuses them to fulfill her own wishes, slowly over time, she starts to go more serious and tries to actually help see people's wishes come true.

Elle Bonnet / The Elegant Enchantress Elle
Magical girl of day dreams. Elle is an extremely positive, encouraging person, so it's no wonder why she became the guardian of people's day dreams. She often seems off in her own world, but when it comes to things she's very passionate about, she shines and inspires the people around her. Her wand wishes she was just a little more focused, though. It's probably lucky for Melissa that they were fast friends thanks to Elle's personality.

Irene Levitt / The Incredible Illusionist Irene
Magical girl of nightly dreams. Irene has been a magical girl longer than the other two and has been tasked to protect people from nightmares so that they may have good dreams. But between that and her overbearing family, she's become quite cold and bitter towards most of the things around her. It doesn't help that her wand doesn't talk to her anymore. She's begun to question why she's even risking her life, but Melissa and Elle do their best to support her... so long as Irene and Melissa aren't butting heads.

Toys
Various types of toys were considered while working on this project, and some prototypes and concepts were created for examples.
Wendy Wand Toy
Wendy is both Melissa's guardian and her weapon. During the day, she's worn as a necklace, but in use she takes the form of a wand. The toy is intended to a replica of that wand to able to play with. Fully functional, she would speak at the press of button and the head of the wand would be removable and usable as a necklace.

Melissa Doll
While many different types of dolls have potential, a soft doll is much more huggable and easier to sleep with. It was designed with children in mind.

Café Playset
It was important to be able to show the girls' daily lives too. This playset is to represent the café the three regularly hang out at in which a child could make their own stories with.
